After staying for one second, the main/secondary display area will display the horizontal distance and angle between the two points. Similarly, by pressing the mode key in sequence, the rangefinder can display the vertical height difference (VD ML) and straight line distance (SD ML) between two points.

If measuring the length and direction of oil pipelines, it is necessary to first switch the rangefinder to SD ML mode, aim at any two points of the pumping unit using a crosshair, and measure the straight-line distance and azimuth of those two points. After the data is displayed for one second, the main/secondary display area displays the straight-line distance between two target points and the horizontal azimuth angle of their connecting straight lines, thereby calculating the length of the oil storage pipeline or transmission line. After displaying the result value in SD ML, press the mode key in sequence to associate the horizontal distance (HD ML) and vertical height difference (VD ML) between two points.
