When using the XR3000C laser rangefinder, short press the power button and observe the full screen character display through the eyepiece, indicating successful startup. After 1 second, it automatically enters the temperature display interface. If the temperature display stays for 2 seconds, it automatically enters the default HD SD mode interface or the measurement mode interface before the last shutdown.

When turned on, press the mode keys one by one to switch between different measurement modes. Simply select the desired measurement mode and the operation is very simple.

This rangefinder has 11 practical functions, such as two-point height difference measurement, horizontal distance/angle measurement at any two points in space, two-point/three-point height measurement, single point horizontal distance/oblique distance/vertical distance measurement, speed measurement, temperature measurement, azimuth measurement, target coordinate position measurement, etc. The function can be switched by clicking the mode button.

The rangefinder can also be conveniently connected to the RXIRY measurement app, and the measurement data can be transmitted to the mobile phone for more convenient recording. At the same time, it has added more practicality to the product, such as area measurement, eccentricity measurement, longitude and latitude acquisition, photography and framing, data export, navigation, recording functions, and so on. The operation method is also very simple. After downloading the Xinrui Measurement APP, follow the prompts to operate step by step. The entire operation process is simple, and there is basically no difficulty in getting started.

During the experience, we also used the XR3000C laser ranging altimeter for measurement and testing in the environmental protection industry, including measuring the height of chimneys, measuring base station radiation, and ensuring the safe distance of sensitive sources.

In the power on mode, press the mode key to switch to VD ML mode. Aim at the top and bottom points of the chimney through the crosshairs in the eyepiece, and then press the measurement key in sequence to display the linear distance and pitch angle of the two points. After staying for one second, display the vertical distance and height difference angle between the two points, as well as the vertical height of the chimney being measured.

When measuring the safe distance of base station radiation, switch the machine to HD ML mode and aim at any point of the base station and building using a crosshair. Display the straight distance and elevation angle of the two points respectively. After staying for one second, display the horizontal distance and horizontal angle between the two points, which is the safe radiation distance from the base station to the building.

If measuring the safe distance from a sensitive source to a building, the machine needs to be switched to SD ML mode, aiming at any point of the sensitive source and building using a crosshair, displaying the straight-line distance and azimuth of the two points respectively. After one second, the main/secondary display area displays the straight-line distance between the two points and the horizontal azimuth of the connecting straight line, which is the safe distance from the measured sensitive source to the building.

In addition, in single point measurement mode, through the HD/SD mode function, the crosshairs aim at any point of the measured pollution source, and the main/secondary display area can display the horizontal distance, linear distance from the current position to the target pollution source, as well as the height difference and elevation angle from the instrument's current height to the pollution source target point. These data can be measured with just one click using the XR3000C rangefinder, which is very practical and convenient.
